River Cruises provide a more intimate environment, carrying only 150 passengers, many of the finer amenities enjoyed on luxury cruise lines, with itineraries that can only be reached by smaller vessels. In September 2010, we’ve partnered with AMA Waterways, one of the premier providers in the industry, to bring you an unforgettable 10-night itinerary on the Danube that includes three nights in Prague.
Our journey starts with three nights in Prague with a chance for a city tour and a full day on your own. Then, your cruise onboard the MS Amalegro, one of the newest and most state-of-the-art vessels in Europe, will journey down the Danube beginning in Vilshofen, traveling through Austria and Hungary and disembarking in Budapest. You’ll visit incredible cities like Passau, Linz, Melk, Vienna and Bratislava. Not sure what awaits you in these cities? Don’t fret; you’ll have the services of a professional cruise director (Larry!) throughout the cruise, daily excursion information and information on the locations. Take time for an evening concert in Vienna, a relaxing walking tour, check out Oktoberfest or even hop on one of AMA’s complimentary bicycles if you’d like to explore on your own.
After you’ve experienced all you desire, come back to your outside stateroom, wrap up in your plush, terry bathrobe, open your French balcony and admire your view. There will be time to relax prior to your gourmet dinner that includes wine and/or beer, as well as espresso or cappuccino after. Entertainment is provided nightly.
We’ll be traveling the Romantic Danube and exploring Prague September 2-12, 2010. The all-inclusive river cruise program starts at just $2,699 per person with a $400 per person deposit. If you’d like to continue on with the group and include three nights’ accommodations in Prague with daily buffet breakfast; additional pricing is just under $700 per person. Air pricing is also available, which includes transfers. |
