What is an All-Inclusive Resort? PDF Print E-mail

Traveling to an all-inclusive resort is one of the best ways to travel. All of your food and drinks are included in the price, so you won’t have to worry about paying for food in the hotel restaurant, trying to find a good place for dinner, or searching for just the right place to have a few drinks.

The focus of an all-inclusive resort is to keep you at the resort and provide you with anything that you could possibly need right on site. Most resorts offer entertainment during the day and in the evening, tennis courts, golfing nearby, water sports, shopping, spas, and excursions around the area. There are typically two types of all-inclusive resorts.  There are all-inclusive resorts that allow children and those that do not.  So, if you are looking for a "no children" type of vacation, we would highly recommend an all-inclusive resort that is adults or couples only.

Choosing the Right Resort for You PDF Print E-mail

The type of resort that you choose for your vacation is incredibly important. In each of the tropical locations we've discussed, there are two types of resorts:

ones that do not include food and drink in the upfront price and resorts that do include food and drink. The resorts that do include food and drink in their upfront prices are called All-Inclusive Resorts. Within the all-inclusive category (which we highly recommend), there are resorts that allow only couples, resorts that are great for couples and families, and resorts that are built specifically for families.
