We arrived in Key West at about 7a and were to be back on the boat around 130p.  Kind of a quick stop and we wished we would have had more time to enjoy the island and explore a little more.

Part of our group had breakfast (that was to die for) at the Blue Heaven Restaurant. They tried the BLT, which ended up being an eggs benedict dish with canadian bacon, lobster and tomato.  They licked their plates it was so good!

The rest of our group opted for breakfast on the ship and then headed out to shop and see what else we could get into at Key West.  We headed past the Westin (great location and beautiful hotel on the marina) and on to Duvall Street where you could buy just about anything you wanted and they had a great Coach outlet too!  We nabbed some great deals there, as they handed us 20% off coupons as we walked in the door.

After lots of shopping, we headed down to the southernmost point and took a quick peek at the Southernmost Hotel and the Southernmost House.  The line to get your picture taken with the marker for the southernmost point in the US was a little daunting, so we just tried to take our best shot.

On the way home, we stopped by Croissants de France for some IMPECCABLE desserts.  The key lime tart was so good, we ordered two.  There was a key lime cake, strawberry cake, various other tarts and other baked goods like chocolate croissants, almond croissants and much more.  Be sure to visit their bakery or bistro at 816 Duvall Street.  NOT TO MISS!
